Mustang: Exploring The Mystical Kingdom Of Lo

Mustang, also known as Nepal’s mini Tibet, is a popular tourist route, but it has only been open to foreigners since 1992. Before this, this place was not allowed for foreign tourists.

Upper Mustang Trekking,

Our journey starts from Jomsom, a beautiful starting point with its diverse landscapes and cultures encountered along the way.

Finally, we reach Lo Mantang, the capital of Upper Mustang, located in a remote Himalayan desert area, behind the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains. This ancient traditional Tibetan village is home to unique medieval Buddhist art and fascinating culture.

We continue through treeless and rocky trails with up and down hills, with beautiful panoramas of the Nilgiris, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other peaks.

Witness the Tibetan Buddhist shrines of Kaanis, Chortens and Bodhnath Stupa, a 130-meter dome that dominates the sky. See also centuries-old prayer walls and monasteries. And interact with Tibetan people to make this trip more memorable.

Nepal: Hiking & Trekking In Mustang

We pass through cave hermitages carved into the mountain and more than 3000 years old.

Due to the level of difficulty on this trip, such as long days at high altitude, it is recommended that participants have a good level of fitness.

Reserve your place in the mysterious mountains where the cultures of Nepal and Tibet meet to create a unique atmosphere and the perfect place for a 16-day trip to Upper Mustang.

Upper Mustang The Forbidden Kingdom Trek & Jeep Adventure

I also have a lot of experience climbing in Europe: France, Italy, Great Britain and Norway (where I work as a snow guide for three months in the summer).

I am happy to guide you on your adventure, be it hiking, climbing or any hiking trip. Contact us and let’s talk about the purpose of your trip.

Our guide Phurpur is amazing and the climbing was surreal. However, due to the speed of the trip, we ended the trip early, which meant that we had to pay for our own food and lodging from the 17th to the 20th. What we felt was wrong because we were being punished faster than usual, Knowing. if it was, we wouldn’t be doing it. And be warned, even though our guide is amazing, we didn’t get the IFMGA guide as advertised, we got a walking guide. In the end, we didn’t get the 3-day snow course promised in the itinerary. We raised the points with Jamchang but no agreement was reached on their behalf. Overall we are happy with the guide but very disappointed with the company and how they handled our situation. We’d be happy if the listing was properly advertised and you got what didn’t fall under the bandwagon, but that’s not the case.

Mustang: Exploring The Mystical Kingdom Of Lo

We enjoy climbing the highest peak of the Himalayan island; Our tour included Everest Base Camp, Kala Pattar and Island Peak. Jamchang and his entire team did an amazing job of looking after us, always looking after us and making sure we had the best chance of success on the climb. The team is talented and strong and helped us in every way, like carrying our extra personal belongings to lighten our load, and so we couldn’t have made it without the care, support, help and patience of A Strong in the Peak. a team of outstanding directors. One area for improvement; We would have appreciated more information about operations, equipment, itinerary, etc. before the trip. I hope to return to Nepal again in the near future and would be happy to do another trip with the High Himalayas.

Trekking In Mustang Top 7 Reasons Why It Is The Best

1. First of all, this tour is badly advertised, referring to Jamchang as the accompanying guide, but in fact he is not the guide I was traveling with. 2. I asked many questions on the pulpit, most of which were not answered until the day I met the real leader in Kathmandu. 3. The most disturbing thing is that I specifically asked if 14 days would be enough to install Mera (I was told that it really is enough). However, the first thing I was told when I arrived in Kathmandu was that I had little time for the mountains and had to delay my return flights. I was also informed later that most people who succeed in mounting the Mera usually take a day or two to acclimate to the Hare. 4. The agreed strategy was to return directly to Kathmandu from Lukla. The day before my return, I was informed that due to high season the flights were diverted to another airport and it would take an additional 6 hours of flight to reach Kathmandu. Otherwise, you will need to take a helicopter and add another $50 for a direct flight to Kathmandu. After researching I found out that it was true and that it happened in early October, but the company failed to inform me and plan in advance. 5. The hotel in Kathmandu was basic but nice, but the air conditioner and TV didn’t work, and on my last day there were ants in the bed, refrigerator, and sink. 6. The manager and property manager assigned to me, Pekma and Ganesh were really nice and helpful people. Pekma (guide) was knowledgeable about the environment, Nepalese lifestyle, had valuable mountain knowledge and was very supportive throughout the trip. Pekma had all the appropriate houses and teahouses at his disposal. The food in the mountains was good and Pekma was always helpful about the best food to eat based on location and availability. I had no gastrointestinal problems. In conclusion, I do not recommend this trip if you are planning to have a successful conference.

I have had Jamchang as a guide on two expeditions, Himlung Himal in 2020 and Everest in 2021. Both were successful and it was great to climb with him. I really appreciated his dedication and constant customer care, as well as his pride in maintaining a good level of service and striving for success that led us to conferences.

Mr. Jamchang Bhote was amazing. He is very skilled and very patient. We had everything we needed. Great place to study. Definitely worth the money.

Jamchang is a great guide with western leadership experience but local Sherpa values. He always puts safety first and I trust his judgment in critical moments. He became a friend during our many climbs and I highly recommend him and his local company High Himolay!

Upper Mustang Jeep Safari

I would like to add that High Himalayan outfit was very professional in handling things and they integrated their staff and guides on the trip and made it a team experience. The evening was saved. Great job and I will look forward to another trip with them.

Really good company very efficient and well organized with professional and friendly UIAGM mountain guide. Many thanks to high Himalaya climbing expedition Congratulations on a successful first climbing trip to Ama Dablam in autumn 2018!

After half a year of planning, a new attempt was made in Ama Dablam. This time, a third person joined the ranks of the rising party. The training at Lobuche gave us a preview of how many pitches feel on the steep slopes of Ama Dablam. Good weather and fast mountain style climbs to C1, C2 and finally the summit is done. Many thanks to Jamchang for guiding us there! It is peak time (before autumn business trips), the selection of carriers and other equipment is also at its peak.
